The lunch deals are fantastic, and the portions are large. There is a mix of everyone who visits this location. I highly recommend the Strawberry Margarita and the chimichanga as they were magnificent. Just make sure you are prepared for a busy house on a weekend. If you are within walking distance, that may be a better option as it's located on a somewhat busy road.
Our first time here. Traveling on Gulf Coast, staying in Cape Coral. This place was recommended by hotel staff. We found it to be an excellent choice. Great food, great waiter. The place was packed and lively for 6 pm, so it was noisy. Had a very interesting chips and salsa starter. Great Fahitas. The steak was fall apart excellent. When we get back in this area in the future, we'll definitely come back.

Outstanding food! My wife and I had a super lunch, while in Cape Coral on Vacation. Our Server Nick did an amazing job all around! As a matter of fact, all the staff were excellent! I recommend eating here highly!
As a SWFL native, I was raised on Iguana Mia, so the food always brings back a nostalgic feel to me. It’s important to keep in mind if you’re looking for the most authentic Mexican food in the area, this is not the place. BUT if you’re looking for incredibly tasty food, amazing service and an overall good vibe, this is where you should go. The food is amazing, flavorful and consistent, but doesn’t quite align with the term “authentic”. You really just have to set your expectations to the “American-Mexican” style and you will be satisfied. My personal favorite are tacos “Gringo Style” (flour tortillas, tex mex beef, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes). They may not be an authentic street taco but gosh darn do they hit the spot. The margaritas are unbeatable and the free chips and salsa are just a cherry on top (try the crema, I could drink it by the gallon). I usually prefer to sit at the bar because the bartenders are always incredible, but the dining room is great as well if you have more than 2 people. If you don’t want to dine in, no problem. One quick phone call will get you fresh food to go, they even include the chips and salsa to go for free if you order an entree! I will always recommend Iguana Mia to anyone who asks, it’s genuinely my favorite place in Cape Coral.
I have been going here for 30 years or better with my family. It remains a stellar experience for drinks, dinner, and all occasions. I was just there recently with my grandchildren who love it as much as my children when we first took them. Thank you for continuing this great and familiar community establishment. The food, the drinks and the prices never disappoint.

Claire our server was very polite, made sure we were extremely happy. Never forgot anything. Kept our cups full, made wife say she did a good a job. Thank you Claire our daughters birthday dinner was very special.
